Continuous Assessment and National Examinations

Students' academic progress is monitored through continuous assessment and formal examinations conducted throughout the academic year. Assessment activities may include classroom exercises, assignments, quizzes, tests, practical activities, projects, terminal examinations and other approved forms of learner assessment.

Assessment enables teachers to monitor student understanding, measure progress, identify learning difficulties and determine areas requiring additional support. Assessment results are analysed to identify strengths and weaknesses and to guide subsequent teaching and learning.

Students receive academic guidance on examination preparation, effective study techniques, time management and responsible approaches to assessment.

The school also prepares students for relevant national examinations in accordance with the requirements of the Tanzanian education system. Examination results are used as an important part of monitoring academic performance and planning appropriate interventions for continuous improvement.
