History of Mbinga Secondary School
Mbinga Secondary School is a government co-educational day school located in Mbicu, Mbinga Mjini B Ward, Mbinga Town Council, Ruvuma Region, Tanzania. Established and registered in 1995 under registration number S.601, the school also serves as a NECTA examination centre (S0815) for Form Two and Form Four examinations, including independent candidates.
For many years, the school has played an important role in providing secondary education to students from Mbinga and surrounding communities. It works closely with education authorities, parents, guardians and the community to promote academic achievement, discipline and holistic student development.
The school has also benefited from government efforts to improve educational infrastructure and the learning environment in Mbinga Town Council. Through its long-standing service, Mbinga Secondary School continues to contribute to the education and development of young people in Ruvuma Region.
Today, the school remains committed to providing quality secondary education and preparing students to become responsible, knowledgeable and productive members of society, guided by the motto “Education, Work and Humanity.”
